Rep. August Pfluger (TX-11) released a statement following the discovery of a possible human smuggling operation with more than 40 people found dead inside a tractor-trailer near San Antonio.

Rep. August Pfluger: “Cartels and human smugglers have taken control of our southern border. Democrats like President Biden and Homeland Secretary Mayorkas can deny the heartbreaking realities of their border crisis, but when over 40 people are killed in the back of a tractor-trailer, they must not be allowed to look away. A terrible and sad way to die. God bless them.”
