Sales Tax Receipts Up in November

The cities of Brownwood, Bangs, and Early all received increased sales tax allocations from the State of Texas for the month of November, compared to November 2020.  Once again the City of Early led the way, with an increase of 37.63%.  The sales tax allocation in November reflects retail and other taxable sales in the month of September 2021.

The November figures for each city are shown below.

Brownwood

The City of Brownwood received $645,950, an increase of 14.84% over November 2020.  Year to date Brownwood has collected $1,137,413, up 15.62% over last year.

The Brownwood Municipal Development District received $203,841, an increase of 15.82% over November 2020.  Year to date the BMDD has received $365,011, up 14.99% over last year.

Early

The City of Early received $192,028, an increase of 37.63% over November 2020.  Year to date Early has received $367,881, up 43.82% over last year.

The Early Municipal Development District received $61,660, an increase of 39.29% over November 2020.  Year to date the EMDD has collected $119,570, up 45.45% over last year.

Bangs

The City of Bangs received $22,188, an increase of 10.86% over November 2020.  Year to date Bangs has received $41,074, an increase of 22.28% over last year.

The Bangs Municipal Development District received $3,055, an increase of 12.73% over November 2020.  Year to date the Bangs MDD has collected $6,028, up 26.18% over last year.
