Holly Kuykendall Greer has loved to run since she was a little girl.

She started running competitively at 9 years old in summer programs. It wasn’t long after she made the Boston Marathon her dream race.  By junior high it was evident that long distance was her thing.  Race after race, cross country and track, she consistently medaled.

Moving into high school, she made it to Regionals every year and won the top overall female runner at the Brownwood Reunion four years in a row. She did not run for a college team but continued to run on her own.

She competed in a triathlon in Dallas and ran her first marathon at the Rock and Roll marathon in San Antonio in 2011. From there she ran in Houston, Nashville St. Jude’s Marathon, Brooklyn Marathon, Cowtown Marathon twice, among other half marathons.

She’s run with her sister Heather Hutcherson, her Mother In Law Sheila Greer, Shawn Russell, Jamie Moses Bryant, and most importantly her biggest supporter, her husband Austin.  She’s ran helping to push special needs kids and her favorite guy, Lane.

She qualified for the 2020 Boston Marathon that was canceled due to Covid. In the year that followed she had a baby but kept up her training. She’s worked so hard, pushed thru injuries, and never quit!  This year her dream came true and she ran and completed the Boston Marathon.
