Virgil Eugene Cowin Jr., age 84, of Brownwood passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 7, 2021, surrounded by his family at home.

Funeral Services for Virgil will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at Coggin Ave Baptist Church with Tim Skaggs officiating; burial with Military Honors will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
