The family of Deborah Gilbreath, 66, announces with great sorrow her passing on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at home with her family by her side.

Her wishes were to be cremated with no public memorial service. There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later time. We ask everyone to please respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Deborah Lynn (Baxter) Gilbreath was born September 20, 1954, to Dewey and Rosell Baxter in Salem, Oregon and resided in Sweetwater, Brookesmith, and Oplin, Texas. She married Darrell Gilbreath on February 15, 1975, in Sweetwater.

Along with her husband, Darrell of 46 years, she is survived by her daughter, Amanda King and husband Jeremy; son, Kevin Shumate and wife Amanda; Grandchildren: Kaylee & McKenna Cash, Madison, Maddox, & Cade Shumate; sister, Rhonda Ivey and husband Roger; niece, Chrisi Warner and husband Chris, and their sons, Scott and Tyler. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Rosell; and a grandson, McCall Kevin Shumate.

Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
