Brown County Sheriff’s Report – June 22

  • On Friday, June 18 at around 9:20 a.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived at CR 321. This was in reference to an animal bite. After further investigation, a report was made.
  • On Friday, June 18 at around 1:49 p.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover responded to FM 2492. This was in reference to a vehicle accident regarding parked vehicles on the property. Also a vehicle whose tire fell off the vehicle while driving northbound. A report was made.
  • On Friday, June 18 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to CR 330. This was for a report of illegal dumping. Jonathan Conley reported household trashed dumped on his property near the fence line. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On Saturday, June 19 at around 6:25 a.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover responded to Ave C. This was in reference to an ongoing structure fire. After further investigation, a report was made.
  • On Saturday, June 19 Deputy Toby Mathis, along with other deputies, handled a civil issue regarding a residence and property. A complainant called to report an individual was selling items that did not belong to her. The individual said she had proof of ownership of the items, but never arrived to show proof. Information was gathered for a report.
  • On Sunday, June 20 Deputy Toby Mathis responded to Belfast Dr. This was for a report of a dog bite. An individual was bit trying to break up a dog fight. Information was gathered and a report was made.
  • On Sunday, June 20 Deputy Toby Mathis responded to CR 551 for a report of trespassing. While checking the property, a note was located on the caller’s vehicle from an individual. Information was gathered for a harassment report.
  • On Sunday, June 20 at approximately 8:32 p.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was notified of a theft offense, which occurred at CR 225. An investigation was conducted, and the report was made.
