Early grad Tuesdi Tidwell to compete in Olympic Trials June 24

Tuesdi Tidwell, a graduate of Early High School, is now a senior pole vaulter for Baylor University. But this week, she has her sights set on the Olympics. The All-American is scheduled to compete at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 24 at the U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

In February, Tidwell won the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Women’s Pole Vault Championship recording a pole vault of 14-4 (4.37m) to take home the title.
