ABUNDANT LIVING-SIMPLE GIVING BREAKFAST JULY 14

What will $100 buy? At today’s current prices, not as much at the grocery store.  A family of four may spend almost this much going out to dinner or to the movies with popcorn and soda.

In fact, most Americans spend $100 today like our parents and grandparents spent $20.

The Abundant Living-Simple Giving breakfast taps into the financial blessings many enjoy by asking 100 men—or the women in their lives—to donate $100 towards the Christmas boxes we distribute in July.

“Come get a great meal, and don’t let this fourth opportunity to participate in Abundant Living-Simple Giving pass you by,” Volunteer Coordinator Stacy Walker said. “It’s a great time of fellowship and seeing how the power of multiplying our resources can add up.”

The challenge is for 100 men to donate $100 each to reach the goal of $10,000 for Christmas boxes.

“We exceeded our goal in 2019,” Walker said. “Last year’s pandemic forced the event outside to our Donation Center, but we still came close to our goal. It will be great to be together again.”

Breakfast starts at 7:30 am. You can come and go or come and stay.  Carry out will be available.  Women are invited to attend and donate in honor of or in memory of men in their lives.    For those who cannot attend, donations may be made online or through the mail.   All proceeds go to purchase food for the anticipated 850 Christmas boxes.
