Brown County Sheriff’s Report – June 14

  • On Sunday, June 6 Deputy Saydie Bradley responded to a call at Brook Valley. This was on a report of a subject stealing electricity. A report was made.
  • On Wednesday, June 9 Deputy Saydie Bradley was dispatched to a burglary in progress at Belfast Dr. While Bradley was there a generator was seized and brought to the Sheriff’s Office, and a report was made.
  • On Friday, June 11 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to CR 604. This was for a report of a domestic disturbance. An individual called to report her husband had assaulted her and left the property. Deputies spoke with both parties and a report was made. The parties were separated.
  • On Saturday, June 12 at approximately 4:15 p.m. Deputy Scotty Burke met with the complainant at the LEC. This was in reference to a scam/fraud report and investigation.
  • On Saturday, June 12, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of an Assault. The victim advised he and his ex-girlfriend had been in an argument, and she bit him on the arm. A report was made.
  • On Sunday, June 13 at around 6:50 p.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover responded to CR 588. This was in reference to an intoxicated unwanted person. While there, Deputy Gover observed an individual assault a family member while intoxicated. The individual was arrested for Assault by Contact Family Violence.
  • On Sunday, June 13 at 9:38 p.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover responded to a call for service by phone. This was in reference into someone violating a protective order. After further investigation, a report was made.
