For the week of  March 5-12, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 33 positive COVID-19 test results, 48 negative, and 35 recoveries. Of the 33 positives,  13 were PCR, and 20  were antigen. There are currently 4 hospitalized in Brown County. There were no deaths reported this week.

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 4,419 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 1,940 people vaccinated with both doses.  30,883 is the estimated for vaccination.

Upcoming COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Information:

A 2nd-dose vaccination clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, March 17th. A clinic for Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccinations is also scheduled for the same day, continuing through Thursday, March 18th.

Please note: scheduling emails for the clinics next week will be sent throughout the weekend. Individuals currently on the registration list need to check their email AND their SPAM/JUNK folders as some of the emails may go there. The email will contain a link to follow to register for the clinic. If an email invitation is received, the registrant is urged to register ASAP to ensure an appointment; if the available appointments are all taken, the registrant will be pushed to a future invitation block.

If you need assistance scheduling a vaccination appointment, please use these two numbers for vaccine waitlist questions, scheduling questions, or assistance with scheduling an appointment on the new scheduling system after an email invitation is received:
