Bobbie Jewell (Savage) Crosby

Bobbie Jewell (Savage) Crosby, age 81 passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, January 13th at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Bangs Cemetery.

Bobbie was born on Tuesday, January 17, 1939 in Talco, Texas. She attended school at Norris High School. Bobbie married Lawrence Edward Crosby and share a life together for 60 plus years. She had 6 children, 3 of which were with Lawrence. During her course of work she worked as a certified nurses aid across the Brown County area and was a volunteer worker at Salvation Army, she also funded several Christian Ministries. Bobbie was a member of New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs for many years and also Abundant Life Church in Brownwood.

Her hobbies consisted of caring for others, going to church and keeping family gatherings. She was a great wife, mom, grandmother and friend. We loved her integrity, passion and her teaching to all her children and grandchildren.

Bobbie had 6 children Ricky J. Savage, Michael A. Savage, Marcus W. Savage, Chandice M. Hatley, Kenneth T. Crosby, Camille C. Moss. She had 10 brothers and sisters.

She is now preceded in death by her parents, Rube and Lula Savage; son Michael A. Savage; a grandson, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Bobbie is survived by her husband Lawrence Crosby of Bangs; 3 sons, Ricky J. Savage, Kenneth T. Crosby and wife La Shandra, Marcus W. Savage; 2 daughters, Chandice M. Hatley and husband Burnett, Camille C. Moss and husband Stevie; her sister Gloria Craddock and husband James; 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
