Brown County Sheriff’s Report – Oct. 30

On Wednesday, Oct. 28 at approximately 6:11 p.m., deputies responded to an unwanted person call, in which the suspects struck the caller’s vehicle. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood and Sgt. Taylor Fletcher observed the suspect vehicle traveling east on US 67 near County Road 153.Wood performed a traffic stop on the gold in color Pontiac Grand-Am. Narcotics were found while conducting a consensual search of the vehicle.

On Wednesday, Oct. 28 at approximately 6:11 p.m., deputies responded to a call of an unwanted person and possible hit and run at a residence on CR 192. Deputies located the unwanted persons after they left the scene, and both the unwanted persons were arrested on unrelated charges.

On Thursday, Oct. 29, Deputy Mike Sheedy spoke with a complainant on CR 312 by phone and took a report for theft of livestock. The complainant reported one Black Angus bull went missing from his father’s property. He believes a neighboring property owner may have sold the bull at a recent cattle sale.

On Thursday, Oct. 29, Deputy Saydie Bradley located an illegal dumping in the 3400 block of CR 234 on the side of the road. A report was made.
