BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given of a City of Brownwood Building and Standards Commission
Hearing to be conducted on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 4 pm in the Council Chambers
at 501 Center Ave to inquire into the circumstances, determine the property owner’s
intent and to assess, increase or decrease civil penalties or order other abatement methods
including, without limitation, demolition of structures upon properties located as follows:
1. 1701 Ave B
2. 2218 Brown St
3. 714 Coggin Ave
4. 718 Coggin Ave
5. 2503 Durham Ave

I certify that the above notice of meeting was posted on the bulletin board in City Hall, 501
Center Avenue, Brownwood, Texas on the 30 th day of July 2020. I further certify that the
following news media were properly notified of this meeting as stated above, Brownwood
Bulletin, BrownwoodNews and Radio Station KBWD/KOXE.
