Brownwood News –  A benefit fundraiser will be held today, Sunday July 12, for Kimberly Renee Allen whose life was taken on Sunday, June 28 when a pickup struck her and others in a front yard at 2401 Southside in Brownwood.

The fundraiser starts at 10:00 am at Smitty’s Bar-B-Q at 708 West Austin Avenue and will last until the last plate is sold. Brisket, potato salad and beans on a plate for $8 per plate.  Masks are required.  All the funds will go directly to her family to assist in the burial costs.   A Go Fund Me page is also available for donations using the link below.
