Mary Escobar, 75 (Santa Anna)

Mary Escobar of Santa Anna, Texas passed from this life peacefully to be with her Lord, at her home on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the age of 75 years.
Services will be Monday at 11:00 am at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. David McLean officiating.  Interment will follow with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman. The family will received friends for visitation Sunday from 6:00 till 7:30 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.

She was born Marion Patricia Salas on March 17, 1945 in Coleman, Texas to Frank and Mary Luisa Zendejas Salas.  Mary was raised in Coleman where she attended the Coleman Schools and was a member of the Baptist Church.  On Jun 6, 1964 Mary married Gus Escobar in Coleman, Texas and Gus preceded her in death in 2017.  She has been a resident of Santa Anna since 2003 moving there from Coleman.

Mary worked in dry cleaning since 1963 with Pool The Tailor, Smitty’s Laundry and Ranger Park Nursing Home.

2 Sons – Travis Escobar of Santa Anna, Texas
Roy Escobar of Coleman, Texas
Sister – Evelyn & husband Tony Calvillo of Coleman, Texas
Brother – Robert & wife Rosa Salas of Breckenridge, Texas
7 Grandchildren    9 Great Grandchildren
Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins
Mary was preceded in death by her parents;  Sister – Frances Alvarado;
8 Brothers – Johnny, Mack, Pete, Alex, Phillip, Richard, Billy & Charles
