SAFETY MEASURES IN PLACE FOR VOTING
Following recommended health protocols from the Texas Secretary of State, the Brown County Elections Office is taking extra precautions during COVID-19. Voters will notice that every other voting machine is in use, making them six feet apart. You will see lines on the floor to keep voters six feet apart while they are waiting to vote. Hand sanitizing stations will be available. During the check-in process, the interaction will be with one person who checks you in. You will be given a pen, which you keep, to sign in. After each person votes, alcohol swabs will be used to clean each button on the voting machine. You are welcome to wear masks into the Elections Office if you desire. Election officials will ask you to lower the mask briefly as they verify identification.

For questions regarding the voting procedure, call the Elections Administrators Office 325-646-4333.
