Early City Council to Meet Tuesday Evening

Brownwood News – The Early City Council will meet at 6:00 pm Tuesday, December 10, at City Hall.  The agenda is as follows.

A. Call to order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance
B. Consideration of the minutes for regular meeting held on November 12, 2019.
C. Citizen’s comments.

D. Matters of New Business
1. Mr. Tony Krischke will present Fiscal Year 2018/2019 audit for council review and acceptance.
2. Discuss and consider approval of design for Welcome sign to be placed at the Early Visitors and Events Center. By: Tony Aaron
3. Consider approving a variance to the setback requirements to install a carport at 109 Bevrodon. By: Nathan Land
4. Consider approving a variance to the setback requirements to install a storage building at 178 Abby Road. By: Nathan Land
5. Consider ratification of action taken by the Brown County Commissioners amending the contract regarding the number of MICU Units with Lifeguard Ambulance Service. By: Tony Aaron
6. Presentation and consideration of proposal for Early, Texas Showcase 2020. By: Denise Hudson
7. Consider appointing members for U.S. Census Bureau 2020 Complete Count Committee for community of Early. By: Augustine Becktold
8. Consideration to award contract for demolition and removal of ground storage tank and cone clarifier from the old water treatment plant on Hillcrest Drive. By Tony Aaron
9. Consider adoption of a Resolution, 2019-R12, creating 2020 Building Early, Texas Initiative; an economic development program under Chapter 380 of the Texas Local Government. By: Tony Aaron
10. Consider approval to participate with West Central Texas Council of Governments in application for Texas Hazard Mitigation Program – Mobile Generator Grant. By: Tony Aaron
11. Consider approval of a Resolution, 2019-R13, adopting West Central Texas Council of Governments Hazard Mitigation Plan update. By: Tony Aaron
E. Executive Session in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.087, Deliberation regarding Economic Development.
F. Reconvene into Open Session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in executive session.
