Brownwood News – A 34 yard field goal by Zach Strong, with :28 left in the game, propelled the Brownwood Lions past Alvarado 37-35 to win the Area Championship Friday night in Denton.  As Alvarado was moving the ball on their final drive to try to regain the lead, Landon Harris intercepted an Indian pass to seal the victory.  Next up for Brownwood is Argyle next week.  Details to come.
