Brownwood News – The following calls for service were responded to by Brownwood Police in recent days.
On 11/20/2019 at 10:00 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 900 Blk. of Lillie Kimble St. in reference to a burglary. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.
On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at approximately 14:40, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a South Brownwood business at Avenue K and Austin in reference to Hit and Run. A report was generated for this incident.
On 11/21/2019, at approximately 02:59 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Fisk Avenue for a call of burglary. Brownwood Police made a report of burglary.
On 11/21/2019 Brownwood officers were dispatched to Elizabeth Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report has been generated.
On 11/21/2019, Brownwood officers were dispatched to W. Main Blvd. in regards to theft of service. A report has been generated.

On November 21, 2019 at approximately 13:52 Officer Mares responded to the Brownwood Law Enforcement Center and spoke to a female who wished to report that her debit card information had been stolen. The female stated that 3 unauthorized transactions had been made with her debit card. A report for Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse was generated.
On 11/21/2019, Brownwood officers conducted a phone call in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle. A report has been generated.
On Thursday November 21st, 2019 at approximately 15:00 hours, Officers responded to a Phone Call from a local bank in reference to exploitation of the elderly. A report was generated in reference to this incident.
On 11/21/2019 at approximately 19:05 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of South US 377 for a call of criminal mischief. Brownwood Police made a report for criminal mischief.
On Wednesday, November 21, 2019 at approximately 2001 hours, Officer Risdon and Officer Bowman were dispatched to a north Brownwood business in the 500 block of West Austin Avenue regarding a suspicious person. Upon arrival an investigation and a report was completed.
On 11/21/2019 at approximately 20:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue H for a call of domestic violence. Brownwood Police arrested one person on warrants and made a report for domestic violence.
On Thursday, November 21, 2019 at approximately 22:08 hours, Officer Bowman was dispatched to a North Brownwood business in the 700 block of West Commerce in reference to Disorderly Conduct, a man with a knife. Upon arrival, Officer Bowman met with the owner of the business and after speaking with him, it was discovered Unauthorized Use Motor Vehicle occurred along with an Assault. The officer was also informed that the suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. A report was generated and completed.
