Brownwood News –  Brownwood soccer teams, Fury & Elite, repeated a 1st & 2nd place sweep in the 12U girls division of the Centex Cup Soccer Tournament held Nov 8-10 at the Camp Bowie Soccer Complex in Brownwood.   Fury & Elite repeated what they accomplished the weekend before at an Abilene tournament making them back to back tournament winners.  

In the championship game held on Sunday November 10, Brownwood’s Fury FC girls took 1st place in the U12 girls division and Brownwood’s U11 girls team, Elite, who played up in the U12 age division took home 2nd.  These two teams will be back in action this weekend in Granbury and will finish tournament play for the fall season at the Tournament of Champions in North Dallas the weekend of Dec 7-8 where both teams are vying to win their 2nd state championship.
