Brownwood News – The following calls for service were answered by the Brownwood Police Department and included on the Offense and Incident Report released on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
On July 1, 2019, at 1310 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to Willis Street in reference to a runaway juvenile who had also stolen some items from his mother. The juvenile was entered into the TCIC database as a runaway and listed as a suspect in the thefts.
On July 01, 2019, an officer responded to a call for service on the South side of Brownwood, 1800 block of 12th street, in which a vehicle had been broken into. A report was generated and investigation continues.

On Monday July 1, 2019, at approximately 2349 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 1900 block Coggin Ave in reference to a domestic disturbance. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An investigation was conducted and an arrest was made. A report has been generated.
