BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORTS: NOVEMBER 21, 2018

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Wednesday, November 21, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Tuesday, November 20

  • At approximately 12:41 a.m. I, Officer Bruce Spruill, was dispatched to the 800 block of Center Ave in reference to a possible burglary of a building in progress with glass breakage. This call led to a report of burglary of a building where entry was made by a suspect. The suspect has not been identified at the time of this report.
  • Brownwood Police responded to the 1400 block of Coggin Ave for a welfare check. Upon arrival an investigation began for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. One female was arrested for Driving While lntoxicated 2nd.
  • Around 4p.m. a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Riverside Drive, Riverside Park, for a robbery. Upon arriving, the officer spoke to the male who stated two males stole multiple items from him at gun point. A report was generated and investigation continues.
  • Brownwood Police responded to the 2000 block of Brady Ave. for a Domestic Disturbance call. Upon arrival, an investigation was initiated and an adult female was arrested.
  • Brownwood PD Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Ave A on a welfare check. Officers arrived at the location and interviewed a male and female. It was determined that the female had been assaulted by the male. The male was arrested for assault family violence.
  • At approximately 12:40 a.m. a Brownwood Police Officer was approached at the 2800 block of South U.S. 377 by the victim in reference to an assault. The officer learned the assault occurred earlier in the day at his place of employment (a different location). The victim was escorted to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for evaluation and a report was made.
