Wesley Jones

Wesley Jones, 79, of Santa Anna passed away at his home on July 9, 2018.  Per his wishes, he will be cremated under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1503 Wallis Avenue in Santa Anna; and Mr. Jones will be buried at the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milbourn, Oklahoma.

Wesley Earl Jones was born December 2, 1938 in Decatur, Texas to Leonard Leroy and Bertha Lee (Davis) Jones.  He married Gloria Jean Hull on July 4, 1965, and they have lived in Coleman County since 1988.  Wesley was a member of Laborers International Union of North America Local 648 and was an oil field worker.  He loved riding his motorcycle, camping, fishing and travel; and he loved his boxer, Sadie.  He will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Jeannie Jones of Santa Anna; brothers, Jack Jones of Ft. Worth, R. L. Jones of Odessa and James Jones of Lubbock; sister, Wanda Annette Jones Darcy of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bertha Yvohn Sawyer and Laura Koonce.
