Summer Robotics Camps to be Held at Early Elementary

Brownwood News – Early ISD will offer beginning and advanced robotics camps this summer at Early Elementary School. Early Robotics teacher Keith Taylor will be hosting both sessions.

Children who have completed grades 3rd -5th are invited to attend the Beginner’s Camp, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 9-13th. During this camp, participants will use Lego Mindstorm EV3 Robotics to build and program projects.

The Beginner’s Camp is limited to 24 participants and is offered at a cost of $50 per person. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis and seating is limited to 24 participants.

Students who have completed grades 4th-5th (who attended last summer’s robotics camp or who were on a team last year) are invited to attend the Advanced Camp, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on July 23-27th. During this camp, participants will use Lego EV3 Mindstorm Robotics to design and program projects and to complete in programing competitions.

This Advanced Camp is limited to 24 participants and is on a first come first served basis. Cost to attend is $50/person.
