Jose Louis Redskin Navarro

Jose Louis Redskin Navarro, age 51, of Granbury passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018, in Waco, Texas.

Funeral services for Jose will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Christ Chapel Church with Bro. Landry Blackstock officiating; interment will be held at Greenleaf Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home. 

Jose was born to Lorenzo Salazar and Oralia Navarro on April 19, 1967, in Seminole, Texas. He attended Brownwood ISD and Christ Chapel Church. He loved fishing and the Washington Redskins. Jose was a loving son and nephew.

Jose is survived by his parents, Lorenzo Jr. and Oralia Salazar of Brownwood; brothers, Lee Fleming and wife Terri of Fort Worth, Lyle Fleming and wife Christy of Fort Worth, Frankie Salazar and wife Christina of Brownwood, Lorenzo Salazar III and wife Valarie of Fort Worth, and David Fleming of Brownwood; sisters, Cindy Harrison of Fort Worth, and Tina Salazar of Fort Worth; grandparents, Lorenzo Salazar and wife Andrea of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gregorio Navarro and Rosa Garza Navarro; and sister, Stephanie Salazar. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
