WomansClubGlitzEventLogoThe annual Glitz, Glamour & Gals, Gathering for Giving event, a fundraising event hosted by the Woman’s Club of Brownwood, is set for 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15th.  The event will be held at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center, located at 600 E. Adams Street in Brownwood.

The event will be a “girl’s night out/mini-women’s expo” according to organizers, featuring local and area retailers and small businesses selling their wares.   Mark your calendar for the event and get ready for a fun night with the girls shopping and supporting local charities.

Tickets are available at Big Country Ford and Wendlee Broadcasting. For more information, please visit the Woman’s Club of Brownwood’s Facebook page.

The event last year enabled the Woman’s Club to give over $15,000 to charities, which included the Association for Retarded Citizens, Boys and Girls Club, Community Emergency Response Team, Brownwood Art Association, Brownwood Public Library, Brown County Child Welfare, Brown County Museum of History, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Corinne T. Smith Animal Center, Family Services Center, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, Good Samaritan Ministries, Heart of Texas Women’s Job Corp, Lake Brownwood Meals on Wheels, the Brownwood Lyric Theatre, Pearl Griffin Latch Key, Rufus Hardin Museum, St. John’s Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Star of Texas Juried Art Show, and Zephyr Historical Association.
