Wednesday, October 19

*4:38 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the area of Main Street and W. Anderson Street regarding a hit and run accident.

Thursday, October 20

*9:56 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation. According to the report, the driver, identified as 21-year-old Cristian Guadalupe Arredondo of Goldthwaite, Texas was found to in possession of a marijuana pipe, which he had intentionally hid. Arredondo was subsequently arrested for tampering with evidence and also charged with driving while license invalid, the report states.

*10:07 AM – Brownwood Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the area of 8th Street and Brady Avenue.  According to the report, the male subject, identified as 32-year-old Joseph Lee Ferguson of Early, Texas, was arrested on ten outstanding warrants related to surety withdrawals for multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in a drug free zone, three counts of possession of marijuana, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, and prohibited weapon/knuckles.  The female who was also involved in the stop, identified as 31-year-old Amber Talamantez of Brownwood, was found to be in possession of a dangerous drug and was also arrested, charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, possession of a dangerous drug and on warrants related to surety withdrawals for forgery of a financial instrument, fraud possess identification information, fraud destroy removal, and theft of property.  Ferguson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $137,500 as of Friday morning.  Talamantez was being held on bonds totaling $29,000 as of Friday morning.

*7:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3200 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding an assault.

*7:46 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Cordell Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant and her boyfriend had been in a verbal argument, which was investigated.

*10:12 PM – Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant via telephone regarding a follow-up on the theft of a lawn mower which was stolen approximately one week prior to this date.  According to the report, the complainant’s sister saw the possible suspect trying to sell a lawnmower.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Arturo Allen Cadena of Brownwood on warrants related to ten counts of credit or debit card abuse and on an Erath County warrant related to a surety withdrawal for theft of property equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jerry Dean Edgar of May, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/indecency with a child and failure to register as sex offender.  Edgar was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $30,000 as of Friday morning.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Daniella Marie Evans of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/injury to a child with intentional bodily injury.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Jonathan Colby Moore of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance.  Moore was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $30,000 as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Zachary Aaron Patterson of Rising Star, Texas on a warrant related to credit or debit card abuse.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Troy L. Webb, Jr. of Waco, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/assault causes bodily injury family violence-occlusion.  Webb was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.

Friday, October 21

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Christina Mae David of Porter, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Cecil Jermaine Russell of Prichard, Alabama on warrants related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or less than 1 gram less than 4 grams in a drug free zone, no driver’s license, violate promise to appear and a surety withdrawal for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.  Russell was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $14,700.
