Brownwood Middle School (BMS) teacher, Vera Longoria, and BMS Secretary, Melody Casey were selected as winners in a recent United Way prize drawing.  Winners were randomly chosen from all BISD employees that contributed this year.

Karen Lynch, the Brown County United Way Executive Director, personally delivered the prizes to Longoria and Casey on October 6, 2016.  The prizes awarded included a $50 Amazon gift card for Longoria, and a $25 Amazon gift card for Casey.

With over $2500 donated, Brownwood ISD remains one of the top contributors to the Brown County United Way.
