Local law enforcement officers are receiving a little support from a local business that invites the public to help raise funds.  The public is reminded to get their orders placed, as this is the last week to order.

Willie’s T’s in Brownwood has created t-shirts with logos supporting the men and women in law enforcement. The proceeds from the sales of the shirts will go towards the purchase of needed emergency medical supplies for Brown County law enforcement officers.  An example of one such item is a first aid kit (which contains a tourniquet) that can be attached to an officer’s duty belt.

Police officers are typically the first on the scene of vehicle accidents and other incidents involving seriously injured citizens. These medical supplies will allow our law enforcement first responders to be able to treat some of the immediate life-threatening injuries to victims and/or treat themselves when injured before an ambulance arrives.

CLICK HERE to view and purchase the shirts.  Sales through the online store will be open until midnight, July 31st. These shirts are available in all sizes from youth small to adult XXXX-Large and cost $15-20 depending on size ordered.

Please note, local orders can select pickup at Willie’s T’s to avoid shipping costs.  Orders will be printed on August 5th and will be ready for pickup at 9:00 a.m. on August 8th.  Orders being sent out will be shipped no later than August 8th.

For questions, please contact Willie’s T’s at 325-643-2128 or email willie@gotowillies.com.

Pictured above are the front and back of shirts.  On the back of the shirt reads, “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.”
