Monday, June 6

*5:21 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on County Road 136 regarding a civil issue.  A report was generated for burglary of a building and cruelty to animals and two suspects listed, the report states.

Wednesday, June 8

*1:28 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the burglary of a habitation and the theft of a laptop computer.

*1:35 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a male and female were arguing and pushing each other.  Both had minor injuries but neither wished to pursue charges, the report states.

*2:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Austin Avenue regarding an assault.  According to the report, a male subject was located sitting on the front porch with several injuries to his face.  This call led to one arrest.

*3:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Belle Plain regarding a civil matter.  According to the report, the suspect had allegedly acquired a vehicle by deceptive means.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*7:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Comanche Street regarding the burglary of a building.

*6:10 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a report of child abuse and was additionally advised of possible Medicaid fraud.  According to the report, an additional report of fraud was also made.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Kameron Kartless Brown of Coleman on warrants related to three counts of credit card or debit card abuse and on surety withdrawals related to four counts of burglary of a vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Carlie Lee Siegleler of Lott, Texas on warrants related to assault of a public servant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Kelle Moore Stinnett of Tanner, Alabama related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance.

Thursday, June 9

*12:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4100 block of W. Commerce Street regarding theft.  According to the report, an unknown suspect removed a laptop computer from the business without paying for it.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*7:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of 9th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone broke into her home and stole a bottle of money and a car stereo amp.  A suspect has been named, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Jason Loyd Brown of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

Friday, June 9

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Justin Matthew Hanks of Bedford, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/engage in organized criminal activity.  Hanks was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Tony Lee Jones of Brownwood for indecency with a child exposes.  Jones was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Richard Allan McCann of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.  McCann was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 47-year-old Jerome Pirrone of San Saba, Texas for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and public display/consumption of alcohol in state park.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement jail records.
