KevinDowningBrown County Republican Women’s Club will host their monthly meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 11th at the Brownwood Country Club.

Kevin Downing, Candidate for Texas House District 60, will be the guest speaker.

Downing is a conservative businessman, cattle raiser, and 6th generation Texan.

BCRW and Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Clubs are working together to give all the candidates running for this office an opportunity to speak at one of their monthly luncheon meetings before the primary elections.

Membership with the Brown County Republican Women’s Club is not necessary to attend.

Cost of the luncheon is $14 per person to be paid at the door.  Please RSVP Grace Hefner at [email protected] or leave a message at 325-642-6705 by Wednesday, December 9th.

The Brown County Republican and Pecan Valley Women’s Clubs ask those attending to bring items for a Christmas package to be given to our Homeless in Brown County.  Items suggested are food vouchers, small canned ham or other small tinned meat, hand warmers, caps, socks, band aids, razors & small cans of shaving cream, washcloths, lip balm and “quarters”.   Good Samaritan Ministries has hygiene items but need other items to go in the Christmas bags.  Those interested in helping to pack the Blessing Bags are encouraged to contact a women’s club member.
