Brown County District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that a few felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Gary Brown pled no contest to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Lucy Ogden pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Breanna Jones pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Jones pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
