As part of Kohler Company’s continued support of the community, a $5000.00 check was presented on Wednesday to Lyric Theater representative Bill King by Mitzi Dahlberg, HR Generalist and Janice Horton, HR Associate.  The donation was made possible through corporate giving at Kohler.

The Lyric Theatre recently completed a renovation of the 100-year-old theatre after being closed for 56 years.   The renovation took over 13 years to raise the funds and complete the project, according to LPAC Managing Director Eric Evans.

The Lyric presented their first musical performance, “Anything Goes,” in the newly renovated theatre during their grand re-opening gala on December 11, 2015.  The Lyric continues to offer live productions for the community to enjoy.

The current production, “Beautiful Beulah Belle,” a melodrama and the first of its type for the Lyric opened Thursday, March 19th.  The Lyric will offer 5 shows for this production.  Shows begin at 7:30 PM on March 19, 20 and 21st and at 2:30 PM on March 21st and 22nd.  Tickets cost $12 for adults and $8 for students.   All shows will take place at the Lyric Theatre in Downtown Brownwood.

Tickets are available online at BrownowodLyricTheatre.com.
