Gregg Arledge, age 53, of Brownwood passed away Monday, November 03, 2014, at his residence.

Stanely Gregg Arledge was born on March 6, 1961 to Stanley Glen and Joyce (Davis) Arledge in Junction, Texas. He joined the United States Army in 1980. Gregg enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports.

Gregg is survived by his wife, Sherry Carter Arledge; daughters, Ashley Carter Rodriguez and husband Matthew of Dallas, Julia Arledge and future son-in-law, Jorden Mason; son, Brandon Arledge of Abilene; granddaughter, Lillian Grace Rodriguez; father, Stanley Glen Arledge and wife Toni of Del Rio; brothers, Harlan Arledge and wife Kelly of Fredricksburg, and Tucker Shaw of Houston; sisters, Denise Arledge Strom and husband Carter of Arizona, and Erin Shaw of Austin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Arledge; grandparents; and several other relatives.

Graveside services for Gregg will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Rocky Creek Cemetery with Bobby Machen officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
