Monday, August 4

*1:35 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant via telephone regarding the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant wished to pursue charges against their juvenile son for the offense.

*3:57 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on the north side of Lake Brownwood.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a relative had stolen a ring from her bedroom while she was away from the property.

*4:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report a store employee observed a male subject conceal items and the attempt to leave the store without paying.  As a result if the call, Isaac Alvarez was arrested for theft greater than $50 less than $500 and on two active warrants.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with two females at the law enforcement center who were victims of an assault.  According to the report, the assault occurred on Friday, August 1, at a location near Lake Brownwood, and neither woman required medical treatment.  Photos of the women’s bruises were photographed and statements were taken, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a property overflowing with trash and a strong odor which affected neighboring properties.  According to the report, the residents of the properties have been seen relieving themselves outside.

Tuesday, August 5

*1:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the law enforcement center regarding a domestic disturbance between a male and female.  According to the report, the subjects had been separated by Brown County Sheriff’s Office staff.  The female subject believed that she was the victim of physical abuse and the male subject believed he was simply trying to leave the residence, the report states.  An incident was documented.

*3:21 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of Main Street regarding the theft of a bicycle from the front porch of the complainant’s home.

*5:49 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 13th Street regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 31-year-old Crystal Jowers of Brownwood for Failure to comply duty striking unattended vehicle less than $200.

*11:48 PM –Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant’s apartment was broken into Monday night and a blue piggy bank was stolen.

*Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were called to three grass fires on W. Hwy 67 which were extinguished by fire units.  There was no known explanation of how the fires were started and it is believed the fires may have been an intentional act, according to the deputy’s report.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 21-year-old Taylor Danielle Bigbie of Early on warrants related to failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 53-year-old Rosia Anna Frausto of Santa Anna on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Rosa Maria Lopez of Blanket for assault causes bodily injury.

*Brownwood Police arrested 50-year-old Ernesto Garcia Pesina of Brownwood on a warrant related to accident involving damage to vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Jason Lynn Reiger of Brownwood on a Navarro County warrant related to contempt of court disobedience.

*27-year-old Justin Bradley Waddle of May turned himself in on a warrant related to deadly conduct.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 36-year-old Bobby Morgan Wallace of Brownwood on a warrant related to sexual assault.

Wednesday, August 6

*1:06 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Brooks Street regarding theft.  According to the report, two PlayStation 3 games were stolen along with a PlayStation controller.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
