TUCKER2A graveside funeral service for Kenny Don Tucker, age 60, of Katy, will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the Rocky Creek Cemetery with Bill Slaymaker officiating under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Kenny passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at his home in Katy.  He was born on December 24, 1953 in Waco to Ralph and Wassa (Wilson) Tucker.  He was raised and attended school in Brownwood.  Kenny had been employed by Custom Fire Protection of Houston.  He loved classic cars, Bar-B-Queing, river trips, and wood working.  He loved his precious cats, Mr. Bojangles, Ms. Tucker, Ziva and Sassy.  He was a longtime resident of Katy and the Houston area.  He fought a long two year battle with cancer.  Kenny is survived by the love of his life Kathy, daughter, Jessica Grant, son, Travis Tucker, step-children, Laura Nash, Michael Waller, and Les Thomasson; his mother, Wassa Tucker, sister, Carolyn Burleson, brothers, Cliff Tucker, Bobby Tucker, Vernon Tucker, and Wayne Tucker; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Tucker, two brothers, Donald Tucker and Buster Tucker, a nephew, Josh Tucker and a brother-in-law, Jack Burleson.
