The Pecan Valley Republican Women held a political forum Thursday night in Heartland Mall where candidates in local and statewide Republican Primary races could speak to the public. This was the second political forum held in Brown County this week.
Candidates for County Judge, County Commissioners, County Court-at-Law Judge, District Clerk, Constable and Justice of the Peace each had 3 minutes to address the audience of about 150 people. Some statewide candidate also participated in the event.
Please note, candidate Roy Parrack running for Constable Precinct 3 was unable to attend and was represented by Don Holland. Candidate and incumbent Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Bob Wall declined to participate in the forum according to organizers.
