LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, December 6, 2013.

Wednesday, December 4

*1:27 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Carnegie regarding forgery.  According to the report, the incident is pending further investigation.

Thursday, December 5

*11:58 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of LaMonte regarding improper photography.  According to the report, the victim advised that a family member had posted sexually explicit photographs of her on the Internet.

*5:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Avenue D regarding a civil matter.  According to the report, it was discovered that the female complainant was being stalked by her estranged husband.  The stalking included text messages, phone calls and appearances by the husband at the wife’s residence at odd hours of the day, which caused the wife to fear for her safety, the report states.

*5:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 11th Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant advised that property had been stolen from her residence while she was having her home remodeled.

*7:43 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4400 block of Brookdale regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, the female caller stated that her son had just threatened her.  An investigation determined that a juvenile had committed the offense of interference with an emergency telephone call.  The juvenile was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

*8:32 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding interference with child custody.  According to the report, the complainant’s ex-spouse did not allow her visitation with their child as court ordered.

*10:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4100 block of 9th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  This call led to the arrest of 28-year-old Joshua Christopher Ruiz of Wichita Falls for criminal mischief equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000.

*10:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, during an investigation it was determined that the complainant was a victim of stalking from her husband whom she has been separated from for a lengthy period of time.

*27-year-old Brandon Lee French of Coleman turned himself in on a warrant for motion to revoke/assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Jerry Allen Leonard on warrants related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and evading arrest/detention with previous conviction.

Friday, December 6

*12:24 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Main Blvd. regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Charles Devlyn Dyess for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
