The Early Police Department is proud to announce the completion of their new Police department facility with an open house event next week.

“We will have open house on Friday, December 13th from 2 PM-4 PM to show off the new offices,” said Early Police Chief David Mercer.

The Police Department is still located at 960 Early Blvd next to the Early City Hall in the old Fire Station.

“We have moved from 2 small office spaces where everyone was literally stumbling over each other to 2250 square feet, which for our 7 officers and 2 civilians department, makes us very excited.”

The offices include the municipal court clerk, department secretary, chief’s office, detective’s office, evidence room, bathrooms and an office for patrol officers designed to meet future expansion.

The Early police department invites everyone to the open house on December 13 from 2 PM – 4 PM to see the new facility.
