Edwin “Eddie” Wells

Edwin “Eddie” Wells, age 71, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2013 in Carrolton, Texas with his two daughters at his side. He was born March 22, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas and spent most of his life there.

Eddie proudly served our country in the US Army after graduating from De Leon High School in 1960. While in the army he was stationed in Korea. He worked for Halliburton in Alaska for many years until retirement. He enjoyed collecting cars and coins and was a valued member of the local VFW post.

He is survived by his two loving daughters, Stephanie Wells and Deborah Harrison, as well as three grandchildren, Sabrina Staton, Liam Harrison, and Hadlee Harrison all of McKinney, Texas, and many other siblings, nieces, and relatives.

Funeral services for Eddie Wells will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 25, 2013,  in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel followed by a burial service at Indian Gap Cemetery. There will be a visitation at Heartland Funeral Home on Sunday,  November 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Memorial donations are requested to be made to any charity for veterans.
