Martha Lou Carouth, age 84, of Brownwood and formerly of Rising Star died Saturday morning at the Oakridge Nursing Center in Brownwood.
Funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Barnum officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferrell Cemetery near Sidney. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
She was born June 25, 1929 in Blanket, the daughtger of the late Roy Lee and Zelma Fay Porter Blackmon. She was married to jack Carouth in Blanket who preceded her in death. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 2 Sisters, Audrey Trusty and Barbara Hughes
