First Baptist Church of Bangs to Host Central Texas Gospel Sing October 26th

SingingTelegramCentral Texas Gospel Sing and First Baptist Church of Bangs will continue their 14th year of bringing Southern Gospel music to the Brown County area by presenting their quarterly concert on Saturday, October 26th.  The event will be at First Baptist Church of Bangs and will begin at 6 PM.

This quarter’s concert will a be a Gaither style singing featuring the local favorite quartet 4X Grace from Brownwood along with a number of other local southern gospel groups and soloists including Terri Buzzard, In His Name, Harvey Jackson, Pure Grace, Leesa Stephens and Stacy Walker, the Ash family, and Barbara Blanton.   Joining these singers will be the First Baptist Church choir.  The audience will recognize all of the old Southern gospel favorites featured.

Admission is free and a special offering will be taken to support the New Day orphanage ministry in Zambia.  For more information on New Day go to their website at http://www.newdayorphanage.org/.
