williams_JohnnyJohnny Williams Sr. passed away at 6:06 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. He was born on Dec. 1, 1940.

Johnny is survived by the love of his life, Pat Williams; as well as his children, Dan and Deanna Casto, Johnny Jr. and Linda Williams, Kenny and Jolene Williams, and Patti Rucker. He is also leaving behind many grandchildren whom he loved and adored.

Johnny Williams Sr. was a great multitask-er who had a heart of gold. His loved ones watched him succeed at everything he set his mind to. He was an ideal example to his children and grandchildren that they could accomplish anything they set their minds to do as long as they pursued it wholeheartedly. Johnny’s family witnessed his success in many ways. They watched him go from barely being able to turn a computer on to becoming an expert computer tech, simply because he set out to do so. His heart of gold was displayed by the endless deeds he did for others without ever asking for anything in return.

Johnny was a strong believer in God. He served many years as a Baptist minister where he had the honor of joining many couples together in marriage. He lived a life full of many expert jobs, such as serving in the National Guard, working for the City of Early Water Treatment, a self employed contractor, working in the oil field, and a self employed computer tech. Johnny Williams Sr. was loved and adored by all that knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, for Johnny Williams Sr. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Davis- Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave. Brownwood, Texas.
