Hamburger Fundraiser Saturday for Local Athletes Competing in Inaugural Futures World Cup of Softball

LadySharks2013FuturesCup

Local area athletes are getting ready to compete in the upcoming Futures World Cup of Softball. This inaugural event is scheduled to take place during the World Cup of Softball in Oklahoma City at the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Hall of Fame Complex July 11-14.

The World Cup of Softball features the top softball teams from around the world including Team USA, Team Japan, Team Canada, Team Australia, and Team Puerto Rico. The Lady Sharks a 10-U Travel Softball Team, comprised of athletes from the West Central Texas area, is one of sixteen teams from across the country set to play in the 10-U division in this event.

To help fund the trip, the Lady Sharks with the assistance from Guardian EMS, will be having a Hamburger Fundraiser Saturday, June 22nd from 11:00-3:00 in the Walgreens Parking lot.  All proceeds will help fund the trip for these young ladies.
