LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, March 21, 2013.

Tuesday, March 19

*12:30 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a family dispute at a residence on Kyle Street in Bangs.  According to the report, the deputies observed loose debris, old tires, old appliances and an old swimming pool liner that was “strung all over the yard.”  The property owner was identified and advised that a case for public nuisance would be opened and he would be named a suspect, the report states.

Wednesday, March 20

*10:53 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Melwood regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant advised the responding officer that a window screen to her residence was damaged between March 6th and March 20th.

*3:43 PM – Brownwood  Police received a report of a runaway juvenile from the 1600 block of 18th Street.  The caller stated that her adopted son had left without permission and without telling anyone where he was going, according to the report.  The family attempted to locate him but were unsuccessful, the report states.

*5:56 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Dartmore Street regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, the complainant reported that a woman in a neighboring front yard began yelling at her son when he took the trash outside.  After the boy came in and told his mother, she went outside and told the woman not to yell at her son and the woman responded by threatening to fight the complainant, the report states.  The boy then cursed the woman and the woman’s husband then told the boy not to curse at his wife and came onto the complainant’s property threatening them, the report states.   When the neighbors were told that the complainant’s family was going to call the police, they started yelling at the complainant not to call the police, and then got into a vehicle and left, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Tamara Sue Bond on a warrant for her arrest.

*Early Police arrested 37-year-old Cynthia Christine Garcia on a warrant related to theft of property by check greater than $20 less than $500 enhanced.

*37-year-old Carrie Dawn Mobley of Winters turned herself in on a complaint related to theft by check less than $20 enhanced.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Chase Aaron Nichols of Blanket on a warrant for a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Brandon Jamall Payne of Bangs for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Ronnie Pena of Comanche for theft of property equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested Terry Lee Reed on a warrant out of Erath County related to Theft greater than $50 less than $500.

*41-year-old Alicia Trevino turned herself in on a warrant related to theft of property less than $20 by check enhanced.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Johnathan Wayne Williams on three warrants related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age, speeding, and violate promise to appear.

Thursday, March 21

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Kevin Gary Barnes for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3/4 equal or greater than 28 grams less than 200 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Takeisha Dnae Lewis of Abilene for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3/4 equal or greater than 28 grams less than 200 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
