Walter Judson Cadenhead Jr

cadenheadWalter Judson Cadenhead Jr., 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.

Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home on Bowen Road in Arlington.

Walter was born Jan. 5, 1933, to Walter and Enid Cadenhead. He graduated from Brownwood High in 1950, and went on to attend Howard Payne and the University of Texas at Austin. Walter was drafted into the Army during the Korean War. Once he finished his service, he served his local community as a banker until he retired in 1998 as the bank manager at Norwest in Kennedale; which is now known as Wells Fargo. Walter was a proud member of the B.O.P. Elks for 51 years. His biggest pleasures in life were his lake place, fishing, boating, golf and enjoying his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Enid.

Survivors: Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Doris; sisters, Jeanette Caffey, and Anita McCarthy and husband, John; niece, Carol Owen and husband, Steve; and great- nieces, Nicole and Michelle Owen
