Brownwood Fire Chief Del Albright announced that a test of the emergency sirens will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 12th, rescheduled from the regular testing day which is the first Monday of the month.

Due to the malfunction of computers causing Brown County’s 9-1-1 service to go offline, the emergency sirens in Brownwood were not able to be conducted on the regularly scheduled day.

Please note that this will be a test of the equipment only
