CherryPieAuctionA tradition benefiting youth sports in the community for 38 years, KBWD/KOXE will once again host the annual Cherry Pie Auction Saturday, February 25th from 9:00am until 12:00noon as the Adams Street Community Center.

Five local sports organizations are the beneficiaries, receiving 20% of the money raised to help operate their organizations and ultimately help the 1500 girls and boys involved in these organizations.  Donations to the Cherry Pie Auction help keep local youth busy during the year and help offset the expenses of operating these programs.  These organizations include Cent-Tex Soccer, Girls Softball, Teenage Baseball, Soccer For Fun, and Freshman Baseball.

Monetary or baked donations are greatly appreciated and will be recognized on KBWD-KOXE during the event.  Baked donations may be dropped by the Adams Street Community Center around 8am Saturday, February 25th.  Monetary gifts are also appreciated and checks should be made to:  Youth Sports Fund.

Mark your calendar and don’t miss supporting the youth of our community and going home with a treat to enjoy.
