The Brown County Veterans Service Office and American Legion Post 308 are sponsoring a Veterans Seminar at the American Legion Post 308 in Bangs on Saturday, March 3rd to give Veterans a chance to talk one on one with a counselor about their claims.

This seminar is an opportunity for any person that has questions concerning veterans benefits to have their questions answered by representatives of the following agencies:

Department of Veterans Affairs, Waco Regional Office

Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System

Texas Veterans Commission

Texas Land Board

Brown County Veterans Service Office

And other agencies

Veterans or other claimants that have pending claims will be able to talk one on one with a counselor; however, to talk to a counselor, these claimants need to call the Brown County Veterans Service Office at 325-646-0335 to leave your information so the VA Regional Office can bring the information on your claim. You need to call the Brown County CSO by close of business February 29, 2012.

You do not have to be a member of any Veterans service organization to attend this seminar.

The American Legion Post 308 is located at 205 West Hall, Hwy 67/84 in Bangs, Texas.  For more information, please call 325-646-0335.
