Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3278 and the Ladies & Men’s Auxiliaries will observe Prisoner of War and Missing in Action (POW/MIA) on Wednesday, September 14  at 6:00pm.  The observance will be held at the VFW Post located at 2300 Stephen F. Austin.  The public is invited to attend.

The observance is to formally recognize those Military Veterans that were held as prisoners or are still listed as missing in action.

Over 1,300,000 Americans have died defending their country while over 84,000 are listed as missing in action.
